I think that best rigs for VK are spoons with 1 - 1,5 m leader and Apex with 1,2 - 2 m leader. Grizzly is too heavy for VK, it doesn't give action enough for it. Last spring we used mostly bait rigs with "siklöja" and it was deadly combination with flasher. Good spoons have been Northern King, Iron Horn and Tiura. You can use this flasher also with planer boards. When fish is near surface use faster swimming action in flasher, it stays under water without any weights in the fishing line, I think that this is only flasher what does that. Keep on testing, you will find right combinations for sure. Some day shorter leaders are better and some days longer. Last spring faster rolling action took most of our fish.
